During the first camp, a particularly poignant thought crossed my mind. Ten days go by so quickly. It is hardly a significant amount of time. Especially when considered in light of eternity, ten days is almost nothing. However, for many of our campers, the ten days they are at camp changes their eternity.
I am mindful of this as I interact with campers now. Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to guide my actions and words? Am I depending on His power instead of mine? Please pray for our staff as we interact with campers, and for our campers as they consider their eternity.
